Most of the traps/time bombs ah’ve talked bout them Republicans leavin behind fur President Elect Biden to deal wit’re of the more “longish term” kind.  In this part, ah’m gonna talk bout whut Pres Trump and the Republican Congresscritters are doin to make thangs bad fur him in the “nearish term”.

Furst, Pres Trump has ordered his people to not give Pres Elect Biden’s Transition Team any access to either the resources or information needed fur them to git up to speed befur Pres Elect Biden take office on Jan 20, 2021.  Whut Pres Trump be doin is gonna hurt Pres Elect Biden an the US in a couple differnt ways:

1. 2. Witout bein able to hire the people fur to go wurk wit Pres Trump’s people, Pres Elect Biden’s Transition Team can’t git the infurmation they’all need to learn whut they be doin so as to keep the “gears” of US diplomacy an the economy wurkin til they can git their policies enacted.

Third, Pres Trump dun be puttin together a budget fur the 2021 fiscal year.  Now y’all might be thunkin that sounds like a gud idea, but the problem is Pres Trump ain’t gonna be in office. Whut this does is create confusion an waste a lot of taxpayer money an stop folk from doin other wurk cuz it’s all gonna be thrown out when Pres Biden is inaugurated on Jan 20, 2021.

That confusion in the markets is caused by them not knowin whut gonna happen.  An confusion in the markets is an opportunity fur the rich to git richer cuz they have spensive an smart folk who dun use computers an such managin they’s money so they can make money on quick trades y’all can’t.

Fourth, Pres Trump an his administration have basically said they dun givin up on tryin to control COVID-19.  They’s jus sittin back lettin it spread like wildfire, knowin that tens of thousands of folk’re gonna die cuz of they’s lack of action.  An the death tolls’re likely to peak toward the beginnin of spring 2021, shortly after Pres Elect Biden becomes President an then them Republicans’re gonna blame Biden fur whut they didn’t do!

Fifth, Sen Mitch McConnell, the current Senate Majority Leader, who basically controls everthin that happens in the Senate, dun already said he ain’t gonna allow Pres Elect Biden approval of any “Progressive” nominees of his Presidential Cabinet (like Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Treasury, Secretary of Labor, Energy Secretary, Secretary of State, etc.) if’n Republicans maintain control of the Senate.  Now y’all have to keep in mind that ol Mitch thunks that anyone who dun be further left than he is dun be a “Progressive”.  So he basically gonna “slow walk” or even jus not take any action to approve Cabinet level positions fur Pres Biden. — https://politi.co/36Pku7h

Pres Elect Biden dun might have one, untested, thang he can do to bypass ol Mitch.  The US Constitution dun says that:

It don’t say it has to be a current approval, so Pres Elect Biden might be able to appoint folk to positions they dun be previously confirmed fur.  Fur example, Pres Elect Biden might be able to appoint as, say, Secretary of Education, the person who held the same position in the Obama administration.  An so on fur other Cabinet level positions.

However, ah don’t thunk he’s gonna do that “outta the gate”.  The Senate, traditionally, appoints qualified folk fur the positions they be nominated fur.  They’s only bin 9 folk rejected by the Senate in US history by a Senate Floor Vote.  BUT they’s bin quite a few more who’s nomination dun be withdrawn by the President fur one reason or nuther.
