Well, har we are gittin close to the openin of the first annual “official” Ranty Nation Swamp-O-Lympics! To git started, we’all need to take a look at sum of the contenders frum round the country. Ah’ll git started wit the furst three contenders. Har’s a brief “bio” of whut they dun to earn they’s place on this list.
The Ranty Nation “Olympics” Contenders an They’s “Qualifications”
To git into the Swamp-O-Lympics sumone has to have gone further than just everday swampiness. They’s gotta at least betray they’s public trust. Appearin to break sum laws an just general slimy behavior’s a plus. So let’s git started.
President Donald Trump
- 500,000+ dead Mericans under his watch. Shure folk die all the time har in the USofA. But that ain’t whut ah’m talkin bout. Fur months medical folk were warnin Pres Trump to take action. Instead, he thunked it’d be “smarter” to try to calm everone (in the stock market) down by not gittin folk to take COVID-19 serious-like.
- “Emoluments Clause” violations. The “Emoluments Clause” of the US Constitution dun basically say that the President ain’t allowed to take stuff frum non-US citizens. So if’n a President wuz, fur example, to git sum money frum, say, a foreign country rentin rooms at one of his hotels, that’d be illegal. An they’s wuz plenty of times that the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC had rooms rented to foreign countries that they didn’t even use. An that’s jus one of the many “Emoluments Clause” violations Pres Trump dun did.
- Makin money off the country (US guvmint). Not only wud it be both morally an ethically wrong fur the President to make money usin his position, but it dun be illegal too. As an example, Pres Trump has a golf course in Ireland that weren’t makin any money. After takin office, many Air Force planes quit doin refuelin stops at Ramstein Air Force Base. Instead they’s go to an airport in Ireland to do they’s refuelin. Guess where them plane crews stayed at? Yep, Pres Trump’s golf course. No y’all might be thunkin, “But they got a discount, right?” Well, to keep a long story short, “Nope!” After this started, Pres Trump’s golf course started makin profits.
- Makin money off his followers/constituents. It’s a really long story, but ah remember readin about how a buncha “official” Trump/MAGA merch dun bin supplied by one of Pres Trump’s many companies (over 400 at last count). So they’s wuz a lotta stuff that his fans bought that Pres Trump profited frum. An then they’s all the times Trump properties raised they’s rates around the time of Trump events held nearby.
- The Big Lie. This one’s the most “pernicious” of them all (ah got that $100 wurd frum my “word a day” TP). Accordin to at least 10 recounts/audits of the election results, Pres Trump lost the 2020 election by over 7 million votes. He lost the Electoral College vote by 306 to 232, whut he dun called a “landslide” when he wun 2016 by the same amount. Then they’s the over 60 court cases brought by Pres Trump an his friends bout lection fraud they’all dun lost. They’s won one case an that wasn’t bout lection fraud, but how long voters cud fix a wrongly filled out ballot. All this dun cumulated wit the Jan 6, 2020 insurrection that led to the death of more’n 5 Mericans. Not to mention all those injured. All cuz he cudn’t admit he’d lost… an lost bad!
Now they’s a buncha other stuff he dun did durin his Presidency that he did to qualify fur this competition. Heck, ah don’t even thunk these’re the wurst. Needless to say, ah thunked he dun be a leadin contender for the VIP award. Maybe even a Gold Toilet or two…

Senator Kelly Loeffler
Back in the beginnins of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sen Loeffler’s “financial advisors” conveniently made over $2 million in stock trades just after she wuz told bout how bad COVID-19 wuz. Sen Loeffler’s official excuse fur the trades (in COVID-19 hurt stocks) wuz that the “advisors” did the trade on they’s own. It was jus lucky timin, ah guess…

Senator Diane Feinstein
Sen Feinstein’s married to a billionaire. As the spouse of a billionaire, she dun gots lots of money. IMO, over the course of her career, she’s dun voted many times fur legislation that’s financially benefitted her family an friends far more than “We, the People”. An then they’s sum stock trades she’s done that were, again IMO, suspiciously timed to infurmation she had access to. Regardless of her “sweet ol grandmother” appearance, she dun seem purty swampy to me.

The Bottom Line (Our “Olympics” Contenders, Part 1 Edition)
All three of these folks deserve to be placed in the Swamp-O-Lympics contenders list. But ah gotta tell y’all that they’s jus the beginnin cuz theys SO MANY politicritters who bin tryin to git into this competition over the last year or so.
